Our story
Founded in 2004 by Elaine Stanfield, First Class CDC grew from a single location in South Austin to two thriving centers. Elaine brings 35 years of child development experience and a simple vision: create the kind of warm, personalized care she'd want for her own children. Today, with our location in Buda, we remain locally owned and operated - never a franchise, always a family.
Our mission
Our program is open all year from 6:30 am – 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday, for children between the ages of six weeks to five years old. Each week our entire center focuses on a specific theme or topic.
Schedules are posted on the bulletin board and are also sent home so that each family knows what we are working towards and learning about each week.
We believe children learn through play, and our weekly topics are a way to unify and collaborate on our children’s educational needs.

Is to provide a quality, educational facility that allows children to be themselves and relax in a safe and comfortable environment.
We believe education should be interesting and fun; we incorporate educational activities through play.
We follow National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) rules and guidelines in child care.
